Early Bf 110 G-4 nightfighter

Hi folks!

just finished my newest profile! It shows an early built Messerschmitt Bf 110 G-4 nightfighter flown by 3./NJG 2.

Base drawing with kind permission: Maciej Noszczak
Unit emblem with kind permission: Col. Micha?l (SES) Svejgaard

Cheers, Simon

Each to their own Mr. Smith. Still too dark white on white or not, it draws my eye, (whats left of um). If you look at the nose of the aircraft it looks spot on and its a few shades lighter than the spine and it works, look again please.

Lesson of white on white already given by Grubby, see linky for master-class . . . I can see that fine with my baked eyes
Or are you using a flat panel Mr. Smith?

hi jester,

took your advice and looked again, yep see what you mean, i bow down to your better judgement (this time)

yes i am using a flat screen 19" Samsung, with a couple of programs to get the colours to display the way i want, if i had room i would have two, side by side so i could see my profiles full size.
just been given the nod to your location, is this area a hotspot for profilers

and stop calling me Mr smith, call me john, sagindragin, grumpy or any thing elses that makes you laugh.

For a white aircraft I find the panel lines a bit heavy, but as usual coming from Simon a classy job. Are you sure about this though Simon? An all WHITE night fighter??? Kinda flies in the face of all reasoning I would think.

Keep cool folks! It's just a profile!

Changed the darkness of the fuselage, wing and tail. Also reworked the nose.

Thank you for the comments!

Cheers, Simon

Tiz ok Baron this is not a hostile take over. I notice you reduced the leading edge on the verticals too, good move. When it gets to the stage where I want to reach into the page, pick it up and fly it around the room with my hand like an "airfix kit", (making engine noises as it goes), thats when you know its getting close.

I'm reaching into the page now .

Hi Otter!

Yes maybe the panel lines are a little bit too dark. It's the same think as with model planes. Always the same discussion. Some like it more this way, some like it more that way. As the plane has no highlights, as it's just in a single colour (its RLM 76 lightblue and not white) I decided not to lighten them up because the plane would look too flat. BTW: On the original file they don't look as dark as here. Maybe an effect of scaling down and sharpening. Size of the Bf 110 only (without radar) is about 5950pixl.

Cheers, Simon

BTW: Did you get my Me 410 file I have sent you some weeks ago?
