Yep, the bigger image shows what I want to see!

I know there was a HUGE debate about curved shadows but...
The shadow on you forward outer wing strut really flattens the strut out. A curved shadow there would help, but if not, maybe you could play up the airfoil contour on the struts some?

Nothing re-enforces this more than when you re-open a work that you were quite pleased with just a few months before, and realize how far you have progressed since then.

Exactly. This feeling is particularly strong these days as I'm receiving orders for my older drawings... (Nobody wants the new ones. I should stop bothering). When I open them (like that Tempest I posted), I go: "Oh my god I actually drew this piece of s*** ".

I'm going to have to modify the Tiger Moth template a bit: the tip of the lower wing has too much incidence, which gives it a warped look, and I should reduce the dihedral. (John: you are Mr. Dihedral. Seems like you were asleep on this one? )

The lower wing is correct now, and there are small corrections/tweaks here and there.

BTW Ugo, thanks for telling me about that textures technique. It is very useful and I'm having great fun with it...

I'm considering doing an ebook of Tiger Moth profiles. I guess I'd need a minimum of 50 profiles, give or take.

The idea would be to have a representative panel, with TMs from all or, at least, most of the air forces that operated them, as well as civilian ones. Some of them have some very interesting individual histories/colours.

I'd be interested in what SPS members think of such a project and if anyone has suggestions and/or pictures to share. (John surely has seven million pictures of Tiger Moths stashed somewhere on his hard drives ).
