Oh, ok... Now I definitely see the reason to go on...

Btw, apart from the camo, did French used any specific stencils for the squadron numbers and, which is most important, for the famous "Dewoitine.." tail inscriptions?

Re: Dewoitine D.520

I agree that the nose is quite square but the angle is rounded. The highlight on your profile seems a bit too harsh IMHO. It's not by much, but requires correction I think. However, it's your profile and your style, so if you want to keep it like that, it's fine with me.

Cc. the stencils, I don't know of any specific stenciling for serials or tactical numbers. I'd just study the photographs.

Well, I think this is it, but if it's not -- then I just don't know...
I suppose that's all for 3D stuff... The details are next...

The black "diamond" looks a bit too black, I'd lighten it a bit. Generally avoid using pure black and pure white.

Hi Mangas I like the lights on your D520, perhaps the shadow of the exhaust manifold is too dark comparing with the other shadows on the D520 ...

+1. Just lighten it a tiny bit and it will look much more realistic.

Re: Dewoitine D.520

I was really busy this week -- but I still keep going on this... Making things here 'n ' there... Some more details added... + New cockpit... New reworked "unusual cowling" highlight... I still not sure how far I should weather/age this bird...

Btw, screw some profile making "rules" -- I cannot stress how it's important not to make straight panel lines on the planes (especially the ww2 planes)...
Plough me mama from state Alabama if they ever were ideally straight:

I'm sorry for the lang., -- I'm just quite excited 'cause I feel like I'm going to find an answer I've been searching for so long...

Anyway, here it is updated:

P.S.: does anyone know a true serial number for Marie Emile Leblanc's a/c?

Re: Dewoitine D.520

if you could reduce the gghlights a bit, the "glare" is too wide and strong IMHO
