Im pretty satisfied with my NMF right now, the thing is that I have been pretty satisfied with it in the past, and if I hadn't kept on pushing it I wouldn't have got to this stage. Who knows when I open these files again in the future I might (almost certainly will) not be so enamored with it and decide to push it some more.

Anyway long story short, I'm still a ways of getting my work to a level im totally satisfied with, but that's ok, its the journey that interests me.

Perfection no matter how unobtainable should be every-bodies goal.

Re: BIG JUGGS!!!

A possible next step you could take in your metal is to apply a subtle bumping effect to the panels, between the rivet lines. I reckon a quick way to achieve this is to paint a black layer with white fuzzy blobs on each panel and then use Emboss to shade it.

Re: BIG JUGGS!!!

Can any of you learned gentlemen identify the type of drop tank being used on this Jug, and does anybody happen to have a better image of one?

Doesn't look like a typical 'flat' tank.

TIA.

Re: BIG JUGGS!!!

Hi GFR

I found some info about this type of drop tank

Manufactured by Ford Motor Company in Brisbane Australia as a temporary measure due to long shipping times from the USA. Essentially a field modification.

Re: BIG JUGGS!!!

Although I'll probably continue to 'tinker' with these forever, I think its time to throw a couple at the wall.
