Baa baa black sheep - F4 Corsair

Hi guy,
After my Boyington's P40, it's my pleasure to present you my vision of his F4 Corsair.

Hi Ugo,
the image of RobertConrad was just for fun, in memory of my very best of US series.

Shape definition looks very good but the weathering is a bit over the top.

I like it. The weathering is perhaps a bit strong but it's a matter of taste probably. I like the sand/mud splattering you've applied. The only thing I don't like is the bright blue canopy. IMHO you should make it less strong.

Aside from that, it's great work!

Apart from the canopy and the outer shadow which does nothing for me but detract from the profile it's a nice job.

Re: Baa baa black sheep - F4 Corsair

I understand that these aircraft were dirty and faded...but the weathering and highlights are just too much,
and as they stand are just washing out all of the detail that I assume are underneath, things like panel lines and especially all the removable panels forward of the cockpit
as well as the cowl flaps that are usually a very prominent and well defined feature on Corsairs.

That's how I see it.

NICE WEATHERING
What does it look like without the fuzzy shadow around the outside edges?
One thing, the soot from the wing guns is straight back but it should follow the airfoil contour of the wing.
The weathering my be too over done for realism but as an artistic touch it really look great!
