whereas others like myself merely attract criticism
Which also denotes interest in your work. I'm sure Sparty's work will draw some criticism at some point, which is probably the reason he's posting here and inviting us to "Feel free to comment and critique as how else do we improve". Right now he's in the early stages of his work, so we're just waiting for the right ambush time.

If it makes you feel any better, I'm always worried when posting profiles here, knowing I might get some comments/critique that will mean I have to work more and correct what I've screwed up. And I imagine I'm not the only one...

It's probably harder when you post advanced or finished work. Showing a WIP might have the effect of having people point at mistakes at a sufficiently early stage.

Gaetan,

yes, and from now on I will try to post WIP so the errors can be cuaght much earlier. Cant tell you how much fun it was re-drawing my F4F-4 wings after I had "finished" the product

Re: Avro Agro....

@ mclaring THANK YOU for the compliment , made my monday morning you have , but as Gamary said, better to post a WIP and have helpful eyes spot obvious errors! than complete a drawing and find you have to undo several days worth of hair pulling to correct it.. I dont post often because i dont have as much time to draw as i used to but when i do i like and enjoy( sometimes) the comments i get here, as they help the drawing and myself to improve in accuracy and technique,I myself find your work very good with some interesting ideas but above all else as long as you enjoy what you do then its all a plus . Personally i'd live to do books/magazines etc ( HINT HINT) but we'll see!

as Re: " Barnes Wallace's multiple drop, multi coloured bouncing bomb prototypes. Very nicely rendered. " they're really clown bombs, those buggers can be REALLY scary at times!!

Thanks all for taking interest in this project and i hope to do you justice!

Regards

Mark

I gotta say I like the real (or fake) foo fighters better than I like the band!
