Avro Agro....

Started work some weeks ago and finally had time to get back to this today!..LOOOoong way from finshed as per usual but sorting lighting and details at the mo!


Feel free to comment and critique as how else do we improve

I'll keep my eye on this one. Nice start.

I knew they clipped the wings off Spitfires but I didn't know they'd done it with Lancaster also. Was it to improve the roll rate so it could beat the He 177 in horizontal scissors?

i dont know if you two young buggers know this but,
when first in service many lancs were loosing the wooden wingtips, 6 foot of them, so they had to change the design

John,

yes, and what a clean break it was! Didnt realise the first Lancs didnt have perspex or gun turrets either? Those baaaaaaaaaaaad He 177s musta had a heyday,

wooden wing tips repaired more glass and turrets added , lighting STILL to do ( i hate lighting), He 177's confined to the spares bin lol coming along nicely if i do say so myself, which usually means im gonna fall over big time and soon :S

Ar yes Barnes Wallace's multiple drop, multi coloured bouncing bomb prototypes. Very nicely rendered.

Foo fighters, Barnes Wallce bombs, or nice bombs, Sparty 72 certainly has the ability to arouse interest in his profiles, whereas others like myself merely attract criticism. T'is the way of the universe [sigh]
