(Disregard the tirade below, I misspoke myself )

In fact I wasn't even aware they existed
HUH? WHAT? Monogram WROTE the book on Luftwaffe color and markings and the new 2 volume set has to be the BIGGEST thing that's been published about Luft colors and markings since the original guide back in 1980!!!

***But, let me back up, not Monogram, but Classic Publications.
I think of the 2 new (ish) Classic books as Monogram since they are authored by the same guy who co-authored the original guide.

Anyway, no matter the publisher's name, they are MUST HAVE books if you are a Luftwaffe fan!!!!!!!!!!!

The reason I asked is there is great info in these books on stencils and their application.
And, like Monogram, they sell out quick and become coveted high price collectors books. I believe the first volume is out of print already.

Re: The Anton....again???

Yep vol 1 is out of print and secondhand is astronomical in price. Luckily a friend of mine picked up my copy about 3 weeks ago on Ebay for £20 immaculate and including the colour chip inserts. Well chuffed!

Re: The Anton....again???

OK... back at it again and the first five are off the assembly line. Fixed the wing and added a few improvements while I was at it. Looks like these are ready to take the skies now!

Re: The Anton....again???

Thanks for the compliment Clint. When you get those here, you know you've done something right. I have done the D-9 Sir John. Guess I should do the Ta-152's...one of the freakiest planes ever. It just walked away from Mustangs like they didn't exist. Yer right, that's next up.
