No I fiddled with to try to make it look like a light-faded photo. Converted it to B&W and the pasted a copy of the color original over it as a layer with high transparency.

Looks good but I'd say lighten up the dark makings, serial and name and add a little color to them, maybe sepia? Keep them dark but make them a rich color rather than so black looking. Plus, you could put some more blue in the sky, like an old oversaturated Kodachrome slide
