Hi all, here is my entry

Its my first eye draw, and it has been possible thanks to Aurory's tutorial on Deviantart

Hope you like it!

Re: Eye Paint

Very nice work. It's been a while since I did any Photoshop paintings, I enjoyed painting clouds most of all I think. Much easier than doing faces!

Re: Eye Paint

How did you draw the hairs? on paper and then scan it or with a tablet or something?

Re: Eye Paint

ablabs6 i dont agree with you at all! I am unable to paint clouds because I haven't got enough imagination to make them random... and this is my first face!

And Serval its made with tablet. The picture is full painted, no photo, image or scan... Only the walkthrough of the Aurory's tutorial of Deviantart

Thanks for opinions

Re: Eye Paint

Just asking
I know some artists make a scetch on paper, scan it and then work that out to CG.

Re: Eye Paint

Yes Serval I have seen this method also, very frequently with anime style character art. It is of course much easier to color the lineart with Photoshop than with acrylics or markers. I've got some Copic alcohol markers, and it does take some work to get an even coating even on specialty papers.

I will search out some of my older paintings and post one later.
