"Chasing Rickenbecker"

Here is a composite from IL2 in tribute to American"Ace of Aces" Richard Bong.

Re: "Chasing Rickenbecker"

I like it. The only thing I don't like about it is the fact the background is a bit overwhelming. I think if you try desaturing it a bit, you might make it a bit more distant and hazy, which would be more logical and coherent with the weather as seen on the horizon.

As it is, the aircraft already do stand out from the background, but I think you should make it a little stronger in that respect. What do you think?

Re: "Chasing Rickenbecker"

i'd have to agree with you gam, shove some haze in and lower the contrast.

Re: "Chasing Rickenbecker"

Thanks for the feedback. I can tinker around with the saturation a bit but I blured the b/g for that reason. I didn't want the b/g to distract the viewers eye so the blur effect works for me anyway. I'll give it a go and if I like the results I'll repost.

OK. I'll be looking forward to that.
