I'll try to see what I can find, but I'm afraid that won't be much. I have the usual scale plans and basic history, but not much more. One book I'd love to read is "Straight Down", the memories of an Apache pilot. See here.

Just a quick word to say I haven't found anything worthwhile yet. Could you be more specific about what you're looking for? Maybe then I can come up with something for you, if I have a clearer idea of what you need.

It's remarkable how undocumented the A-36 is, given the Mustang's fame.

yeah thats part of the reason i want to profile it, draw attention to mustangs older brother, main thing i'm looking for is the details, allison engine exhausts etc... as i'm working on a line drawing for the thing at the moment.
