I feel I no longer have anything to offer the community, so it is time to move on. It's been on the cards for a while and now is a good a time as any.

I suppose I could have used "so long and thanks for all the fish", but I used that when I quit making skins.
What's the problem? Who cares about analogue, digital, all the same, a profile is a profile, accuracy and advice on shading area always needed by others, certainly the IIIF photo was very useful.
Think about it a bit more otherwise I'll have to start spamming you with profiles for feedback and is that something you really want, heck if I had more free time I'd pop round and do a bit of stalking!

First that would be a hell of a job.
Second, it would destroy discussions. Since people will find replies to a post that is gone. That will give a lot more troubles.
So, if you post think what you write. To prevent people from altering a post after there has been replied the time to change a post it limited.
This is a combination of things gentlemen, with the BS factor heading up the top of the list.
A good while ago, I swallowed a story fed to me by someone I regarded as a good online friend, only to find the story was a front in order for them to get something from me. This happened again not so long ago, but I found out in time and no real damage was done, but it reminded me of the bad taste it left in my mouth from the previous time. I am a trusting person, but after which, I cut both persons off completely.
I trust everyone until I am crossed, after which there are no second chances.
Now I find myself in a similar situation.
I come to simmers because I regard it as a place of gathering for like minded people.
For me, its a place to acquire valuable criticism, backed up by credible research and knowledge. If I make a comment on another artists work, it is based on what I have seen either first hand or I believe it to be true based on photographic evidence and I expect the same back from the community.
If gentlemen, we can agree to keep the personal BS out of simmers, like the playground antics of late, then I am happy to still be a part of the simmers community.
If on the other hand it is just going to degenerate into to a shit slinging contest, then I am out. I regard all of you as friends, but I will not be party to back biting and childish conduct. My decision is on hold for now, I will see what blows in on the wind.
