I've been working on this skin and, although I think everything is mostly in the right place, I'm not happy with the degree of contrast on the tail section and not sure how to fix it. The yellow, red, and white paint moosh together with the chrome beneath the chipping I'm trying to do, and it sorta looks like a retarded 5-year-old did it with crayons on a grocery bag. I want it to look better than that - what should I do?
Well, it's looking pretty good I think overall. What might give more spark to the tail chipping is some contrast.
If you trace around the 'lower' side of the gaps in the white with some darker gray tone, it might give an 'edge' effect and a bit of contrast. This may not be a highly realistic effect though.
Thanks y'all - I've found a batch of serial numbers and matching codes and some photos as well, so I will send a batch-pack to RAF Loke to post at Balbo-Net pretty soon,
