What both of you say is correct, we all like the details

My point was more about exaggerated details that don't follow the real form more so than the exaggeration itself. Not that what is shown is bad necessarily.
Maybe a good way to look at this has more to do with consistency. I can't help be see how close to being perfect this plane is and so little details like noticeably recessed access panels and hard chiselled fabric surfaces stand out on what otherwise looks very realistic. Of course it is about taste too but at this high level constancy of every little part is pretty important
