In that color photo, it looks like the blue is worn (or faded) to a lighter blue color on the wing root? That area is gray on the skin, so I wondered what that photo was representing.

The grey is really bare metal. I should have some low opacity light blue in there? I cleared some unwanted texture out of that area. I have now put on a pitted texture that brightens the reflection. new screeny.
