Hello Guys!!!
Its one more time about JG 300. (Also the same time period : July to November 1943
)
This skinpack contains 5 differents skins, and also includes a generic and a blank.
Little historical background :
At this time the airplanes of the II./JG "Herrmann" were lend to them by the JG 1.
The first operationals sorties of the JG "Herrmann" were made at the time of the Bomber Command "Window" tactic. This means that the Herrmann's fighter were more effecient than the classical night fighters because they were using their eyes to find to target. (And need only a few help from the radars.)
Pack Contents :
- Fw 190A-5 of Technical officer of II./JG 1 (Lt. R?diger von Kirchmayr) wich was used by the JG 300 for the Summer. (Notice the 4 night victories on the tail.)
- Fw 190A-6 "7 Yellow" of 6./JG 1. With black right underwing. (Thus the Flak will be able to identify easily a friendly airplane from a foe, theorically...)
- Fw 190A-6 "8 Yellow" du 6./JG 1. Flown most of time by Fw. Richard L?fgen. (6./JG "Herrmann")
- Fw 190A-6 "9 Yellow" du 6./JG 1.
