emil wip

[EDIT]These will probably be released, with the exception of the personal skins. maybe the template if anyone wants it. [EDIT]
I'm making a BOF campaign for use at Lans ect with friends..
Now if none of them find out that I already have the right skins in my folder I should get to finish this, and some spits plus others too

It's also so we can fly personalised skins on our wing/Schwarm, so i guess there's half a reason to do it.

The panel lines are based on Jesters Ink's 109-E template, and the machine parts are Fly by Shooter's with a couple of adaptions so far.

Everything was done with PS CS limited vector tools, barring the streaking,(though its getting more and more brush based by the day)
and the colours are mostly just there to test that the lines and rivets behave themselves over different tones.

just under two weeks in, whaddya think?

Re: emil wip

Looking good! I especially like the fading of the insignia; looks very realistic. If you don't get an answer to the tail support question, I'll find them tonight when I get home.

Re: emil wip

if you mean the balkenkreuz, thats Il2 Mat Manager at work i've only done the small warning markings so far and still have to do the numbers down the body (what were they for?), and the engine warnings.

Re: emil wip

Thanks Jesters!

Looking very good Hedwerx, I tried vector lines and rivets once and it was an interesting change from the usual techniques.

Re: emil wip

The rest of that block is for the twin rads under the wings.
Forms the intake colour if I remember rightly.
