Re: Santa has landed in his "Sleigh"

Hi Osram,

This looks like a good place to ask of the following.

Long absence but still here, email to you bounced, Bader may mention such. Wishing to get back into skinning, last time was the 109 and Ju88 skins created for Rowan BoB1 using my own pattern mixes of that simple palette to get as accurate a colour as poss. ...if you recall... so I am totally in the dark on what is required now.

I seek a 'how to skin' for BoB WoV ll

Like to have a go at my Do17Z and Ju88 wireframes.

Questions that arise are:-
1) where to find all skins for one aircraft, and how to open them into Adobe photoshop. (I currently am on v6 and v7.)
2) current rules of the game palette wise (or is it anything goes now...Can I use 16bit palette, or perhaps even 24bit palette).
3) How to save file for BoB WoV Il to read ?
4) How do the transparency files for glazing now get used and created for ?

Can I get up and running on this with what few days we have of Christmas, my only chance I reckon. How easy is it ?

Hope you are well and not too busy.

BOBC

Hi BOBC, very nice to see you !

Yes, long time no see, I was 100% busy.
I did email the newest skinner's pack 2 or so days ago (still an internal one, I just do not come around to publishing it ).
Very strange on my adress bouncing - the only thing I can imagine is some ISP issue say one of our ISPs having been missused by a spammer at one point and so being on a blacklist.

Great to hear that you want to use the virtual brush again.
