Re: How can I make my own skins?

I need a good blank template (void) for the P-51 (all models) so I can attempt to design my own skin, any ideas where to get one? Thanks TC

Re: How can I make my own skins?

Search our downloads section, there are two templates in there, plus a layered file for the internal parts.

Note, these templates are for IL-2.
The request is for Warbirds.

Re: How can I make my own skins?

I just uploaded MY templates that were used to create all current textures in WB3. (not the new one since the new P-51 is crap.) The model done by Lem.

Re: How can I make my own skins?

I'll offer my targa files of the Zero A6M5 as shown on my skin below:

... But I want to see some of your own work first. Do you make your own skins for Warbirds?
Can you show screendumps of your artwork? Do you know the .dot command to show your
targa artwork in the game? Which planes do you fly? Do you fly online or just offline? Have you
done any skins for other games -- which? Go to the Warbirds forum to get more information about
how do do skins for the game. There's a great WarPaint section in the forum.

Looking forward to seeing your skins here soon ...
