fsx/acc just starting paint

now that the uvw mapping is complete...i can begin the paint..

i have some excellent graphic artists impressions of top bot side views..

they show every single panel line and rivet...in real aircraft you dont see all this...

so examining my photos and videos...to see what you should see...

i will be using the chrome environement cubic map for the highly polished nose band...

and possibly the cubic envirenmont map for aluminium...with alpha channel in both for reflection maps..

ime not sure about the effect of the fresnel ramp in specular yet..will post shots when some painting done...

looking forward to ms flight release...screenshots and videos look impressive.....jim

Hi Jim! Sounds cool and a fun way to be creative, I mostly draw aircraft profiles which is fun to do but when they're done they're done. When your done you get to fly the fruits of your labor in FSX and have more fun with it! What type of aircraft are you making Jim?

hi SUPAH...ime building english electrick lightning.Fmk6...

vc cockpit is going to take some time....i foolishly thought paint was the easy bit....was i wrong!.....

most people model,or animate,or vc guage build, with xml coding.some people devote theyre lives to mastering texture artistry...

for the first time ive decided to attempt the whole thing...13 months so far...i guess another 6 to completion...paint,finish vc,and some airfile tweaking to do...

most work is logical.practical.....painting requires an extra.....artistic talent,and skill.....jim
