Marking Download usage

What are the rules surrounding the usage of markings downloads on skins and then posting your skins online. Of course you give the Marking creator use for their work work but do you need to ask express permission from the creator.

Also, using downloads from this site are we allowed to post our work on other sites as well e.g M4T.

I know theese are probably really stupid questions but im new to Uploading my wrk to the internet and think i should get things right first.

Asking permission is not needed. The creators understand that their work is gonna be used on skins and repaints. Just give proper credits. Especially when you use (parts of) skin templates, people won't really like it when you release it without credits.

Since we do not host skins, you'll have no other way than to post your own work on other sites like M4T.

That said, it's up to the creators what they demand. Often they tell that in the read me files. So, follow the guidelines there if any is included.
