Re: Long Beach font

hi GM,

just copy the wmf file, then open it with ps7 select which you want cut and the paste as a new image, then export to picture tube, works perfect.
don't be worried when you cut, the whole image dissapears, but it only saves the selected part, just click undue and it all come back again.

Re: Long Beach font

Just to clarify--are you talking about Paint Shop or Photoshop??

Re: Long Beach font

It doesn't matter which program you are using. A font is a font....period. You can use it in Photoshop or PSP or Illustrator or whatever. Word will accept it too. So, it really doesn'y matter what program you are using as long as it's a proper font. I can give you a gadzillion of them...I just can't find Long Beach.

Re: Long Beach font

My comment was prompted because my Photoshop 7 will not open those wmf files at the German site, but my Paint Shop 7 will. I assumed the "picture tube" comment was another giveaway that he was talking about Paint Shop.

I picked up Long Beach fonts from TLai Enterprises a couple of years ago.

Re: Long Beach font

I don't want vectored paths. I want the font. I can create anything from there.

Re: Long Beach font

I'm afraid that doesn't work for me either, John. Thanks for trying, though.

Thanks for pointing TLai, Joe. I guess it would make sense for me to buy it, but I still find that 20 bucks for a font is expensive... I'll think it over.

Re: Long Beach font

hi GM,

re-installed psp10, they open just fine in this, but having done this, the quality of the Long Beach fonts is crap.

Re: Long Beach font

Hi John,

Do you mean the font is crap or is it the wmf/ai/eps files from that website?

Re: Long Beach font

Still haven't found the font Gamery, but I converted the .ai files on that site so you'll t least be able to read them, but they're not very good quality. Actually, they're not even .ai files though it says they are. They are .vlc files and that's for movie files but Illustrator opened them anyways. Now to find a way to get them to you.
