RE 2005 Sagittario my first profile WIP

Hey all,
Some of you may know me from the skins and tamplates I create. But I'm also expanding out into profiles as well. I mean, I just can't let all you guys do them can't I?
Anyhow, as you can see, I'm about 50% completed and have LOTS to do. Small one shows the overall layout with the other shot a full size snippet. I realize that I should have done this much bigger in scale than it currently is. But that's what we call learning right?

No weathering at the moment as I still need to add rivets and screws.

Hi Jadehawk, It's looking very good so far, This as to be one of my favorite Italian aircraft of the war I think i'd get rid of the Italian flag thou as a back ground, it is too dominating and takes the viewers eye of the subject and all your hard work. Maybe go for the Italian royal coat of arms which is in the centre of the tail cross 1/3 and saturated 3 to 10%. looking forward to more updates.

Re: RE 2005 Sagittario my first profile WIP

Thanks for the reply I guess it's not something most wish to comment on, but like you, it's one of my favorite WWII Italian fighters.
I understand your point of the background and I have thought of the same thing as you did. Since it's all layered, not a problem. However, I do like the flag myself!
After I do this, I'll go back to my B-24H I'm creating which will be MUCH larger and more detailed I hope. I also do Pin-ups which is why I'm creating the B-24 in the first place. I'll have more updates soon!

Again, thanks for taking the time to respond and offering your opinion!

Re: RE 2005 Sagittario my first profile WIP

nice work Jadehawk
I think the Reggiane Re2005 is the best and beutiful italian aircraft,

about your color profile I think you have to work on the shadows and light for make more 3D effect,
the wing the undercarriage look very flat, you have to check the carburetor's air intake look a little bit strange...
I suggest you to look all the photos you found about this subject can help you so much
cheers

Thank you!
Yes I'm well aware of the highlights and shadows. As I said before, it's about 50% completed. But it's nice to know and hear from others point of view to remind me!

Here is another update that shows more work reduced at 75% from the working template. Again it's still work in progress and I have lots to do.
As always, comments are welcomed!
