Simmer's Paint Shop Member Blogs Now Online

As of today, our newest member service has been made avaliable for immediate use. The new blogging software here at Simmer's Paint Shop is aimed at giving profile and skinning artists a place within the community to regularly share and update everyone on current projects, new releases, or other information.

Getting started is easy, just load up your blog page and start editing. Your blog is already integrated into your Simmer's Paint Shop account, so there is no new registration required. You can get started by clicking on 'Blog' in the left hand navigation panel, then just head to your blog control panel (link in the right hand panel), give your blog a name and description, and begin posting.

We hope this blog software will be something you can build into your own personal space, like a homepage of sorts.

Thanks for the kind words ebo. The blog software is something we've been talking about for a long while now, especially as to how it could help skin artists who always have an update, new release, or work in progress they'd like to share. I think blog software directly suits that kind of style.

Also while you guys are getting set up, be SURE to check out the 'Blog Options' in your blog control panel, ESPECIALLY the "Permissions and Privacy" section! If you DON'T check any boxes for permissions down in that section... NOBODY can view your blog!

And be sure to create a few categories to make your posts easier to search. If you check my blog page, you can see on the right hand side bar that I've got categories so far for general stuff, tech stuff, etc. As I go I'll add new categories as I need them.

And as always, if anybody has some questions on how to make something work, or whatever... just ask!
