Eight P-40N's done on the "M" model:
The color was a local concoction that their engineering section called "Coral Sand." The undersides were an unspecified light blue. I'm sure of all the serials except 113 - I added that to make an even eight - but it most likely was among the 19 aircraft assigned to the unit. Joe Baugher has an incredibly complete
list of U.S. serial numbers but these numbers are missing - and sandwiched between large groups of serials assigned to the RAAF. I think they may have been obtained irregularly!
