Serval uploaded one of my tutorials too ... I've been using the pencil tool too. My eraser trick - for 3px spaces between rivets - doesnt work in PSP X or XI but does work in 9.

The best thing is to get used to the copy/paste system. IIRC in 9 you can create a line of 'rivets' then select them & use CTL+arrow keys to duplicate & move them 1px at a time. CTL+SHF+arrow keys moves them 10px ... or something I've forgotten now but you get the idea ... XI has the same system but uses different keys Yes, it's time consuming. My tutorial shows you how to cut down the time a little ... if you do rivets the way I do that is
