I found a real budget method that I suspect is a bug in PSP 8 & 9. Oh, this only works if you want your rivets 3px apart ... which I do :laugh
Create a vector layer & use a 1px line to put in where your rivets are going to be. I tend to do the horizontals then the verticals on seperate layers
Convert to raster layer & grab an eraser tool. Use these settings - size=3 hardness=100 step=200 denstiy=100 thickness=3 rotation=0 opacity=100
This is the magic bit - hold down SHIFT key & click at one end of the line then without releasing SHIFT, click at the other end.
Instant 3px spaced rivets. Only works with 3px though ...
