Flown by Capt Joel Paris 7thFS of the 49thFG, Lingayen, March of 1945. Having got a trio of kills in P-40N's earlier in 1944, Paris scored a futher Six victories in P-38Ls- Five of them over the Philippines, starting with a Ki-45 near Cebu City on 7th of December 1944. His fifth P-38 victory took the form of a Zeke Model 52 downed over Clark Field on New Years Day 1945. whilst his last kill (also a Zeke) was scored on a long range mission over Hainan Island on the 6th of March 1945.
